At first I will show you the pictures I forgot in the last post.
This is my angel fabric, I think it will become a dress for an angel softie....
Now I´ve collected all those, and together with this book,
for my inspiration, I will have a really nice time....
All pieces are sewed together, now it´s about the border. A colourful one or will I choose a more natural-coloured flower pattern. My biggest problem is; Where can I buy more of these fabrics? "Isn´t it romantic?" by Northcott.
This afternoon I couldn´t resist start making cups for my black and white quilt.
Placed on the "chess board".... and the handle will be on the left. I´m left-handed and it´s my quilt. (My husband has another opinion, if you ask him!)
.... and finally stitched in place. Two done, fourteen more to go.... and then I will put on a red border! It will end up as a wall hanger on my red studio wall.
Many pictures today, and more will come tomorrow. See you then!
Helena

Lovely fabric!
The red mugs look really bright, just wonderful on the B & W. Perhaps you could put one mug with the handle facing right for your man?( just to humour him )
A black and white quilt and the red mugs stand out beautifully. Can't wait to see your bag and who it was from.
Love the red mugs on the black and white ... and those Japanese fabrics are gorgeous too!!! I had a quick look on a couple of my fave online fabric shops and I found some of the ones you might be after here https://www.ericas.com/fabric/isntitromantic.htm
I have dealt with them before and they've been great. Hope you find what you're after.
Cheers,
Joy :o)
Great fabrics, nice book, and the B&W with the Red mug will be wonderful! I agree with Ali Honey, one mug with a right handle just to humor him! 8-)
I received my Dancing Flowers in the mail today! Thank you so much Helena!!! It's going to be great! 80(
Happy stitchings!
Yay for the left handed mugs!!! I too am left handed and it's great to see someone making something to suit lefties!
Hi Helena,
I love the shape of your mugs and you can't go wrong with red;) Your Japanese fabrics are really wonderful. Is the book written in Japanese? Do you read Japanese?
Your quilt is lovely the red Mugs set it off very pretty.
Hugs Mary.
Very nice Japanese fabric. Love the mugs. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
Love those Japanese fabrics. You will have fun with those. The red coffee mugs look awesome on your black and white quilt.
That is such a great idea. We don't have to use red mugs right? It could be errrrmm red hearts. LOL. Not doing much crafting (till year end when my studies is complete) will end up like this - ideas pouring in but nothing to show.
